Italy unveils $22m of looted antiques

ROME: Italian police have unveiled some of the 337 pieces of stolen antiquities valued at €15 million ($22 million) repatriated last month after they were recovered in Switzerland.

US returns World War II-era looted paintings to Germany

One of the paintings being returned to Germany. Eleven oil paintings taken by a US soldier at the end of World War II are being sent back home to a museum in the small German town of Pirmasens, according to the US customs enforcement agency.
