Arts groups make plea for funding

With the Sherman City Council set to spend all day Wednesday — and as much of Thursday as needed — hammering out the city’s fiscal year 2014 budget, representatives from the Sherman Museum, Sherman Council for the Arts & Humanities and Theatricks presented their cases for continued funding in front of a standing-room only audience at Monday’s regular Council meeting.
